I took both of Michelle Zindorf's brayering classes over the weekend and am afraid I didn't do her any justice here:( Since I first saw Michelle's brayering a couple years ago, I've had a vision of making a sky with Pomegranate, Guava, and Pink. I tried once when her tutorial first came out on scs, and ick! This is my 2nd attempt. Closer to my vision, but not quiet there. Practice makes perfect I guess.
Anyhow, I made this for Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge Week #8, No Coloring! We could use different colored ink pads, but no markers, copics, pencils, chalks, etc to "color in" an image. I believe I accomplished that, lol. I usually make 2 cards for her challenges but I was getting rather frustrated with my black ink pads...for some reason my SU pad stamps purple'ish??? Grrr.

I love Michelle's cards, you did her a great justice. I'd love to do one of her work shops. perhaps one day she will come to Canada. If not I hope she sets one up in Washington.

Let me just tell you ... you need to give yourself a huge round of applause on this one. I think it's positively fabulous brayering. Wish I could create something as spe ctacular as this. It's really a great card.

Tanya, this turned out wonderful! Funny how it seemed so much easier when Micelle was sitting there, right? I feel like you- I need a lot of practice, but since I sat right next to you and saw what you were creating in class, I know you are way ahead of me! BTW, my SU black stamps purple too!
